Debi Ward Kennedy

Debi Ward Kennedy has been in the retail visual merchandising & display field since 1975, with thirty years of experience in creating innovative displays & store visual plans for clients from large corporations to independent businesses. Known as the ‘Decorating & Display Diva’ and an expert in the retail industry, Deb’s true passion is working with women-owned businesses to assist them in creating an innovative visual identity.

Deb’s articles have appeared in the Business Journal, Western Show News, Country Business Magazine, Giftbeat, and other trade publications. She was a contributing local artist for ABC’s ‘Extreme Makeover: Home Edition’ when it filmed an episode in Seattle, November, 2004. Her client list includes Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery, Columbia Winery, Hogue Cellars, Pacific Market Center, and Willows Lodge. She has also created award winning show booth designs for garden retailer Molbak’s (Northwest Flower & Garden Show, Best Retail Booth, 2003) and artist Shauna Morrissey Design, Ltd. (SFIGF, Best in Show, ‘At Home’, winter 2005). Since 2003, Deb has created exhibitor product displays and presented seminars on retail merchandising at the Denver, Seattle, and San Francisco Gift Shows.

In 2007, Deb and her husband Bob founded KENNEDY|kennedy Design, creating seasonally inspired products for their 'retreat' collection. Included are Deb's original NeSts. The mood of their fabulous displays in shops and at shows embodies their tagline: 'retreat....where the livin' is easy...'
