Jen Lawrence

Mommy blogger and former banker, Jen Lawrence started to practice the law of attraction after Oprah featured The Secret on her show. A lifelong cynic, Jen was surprised to discover that the more she focused on the things that brought her joy, the better her life became. Eventually she founded the blog, Dwell on These Things, where she chronicles the lovely side of life. Her energy levels started to improve, her writer's block ended, and she began to find parking spots quickly and easily. (Don't get her started on the fabulous handbags she started to find at deep discounts.)

As a busy mother of two and a writer, Jen still needed regular reminders to focus on the positive and to practice gratitude. She searched the web, hoping to find someone who was equal parts Dalai Lama and Kate Spade who would remind her via email to take a deep breath and think about all of the beauty the world has to offer. She wanted to read about fabulous places to visit, creative people, inspiring books, and gorgeous design. When she did not find what she needed online, she created Bliss Notes to fill the void.
