Susan McCullouch

Susan McCulloch came to Mexico, Missouri from Sedalia, Missouri in 2001 and brought the contents of her vintage shop with her. She found a quaint 1895 limestone building in the historic district and set up her shop Sentimental Reasons.  The name fits!  Not only is there vintage jewelry and purses, linens and laces, pottery, and other goodies, but also hand crafted items made by Susan. Some of these include totes and purses from vintage fabrics and trim and jewelry made from vintage bits and pieces.

Susan's specialty is constructing beautiful Christening gowns from antique laces and trim. She can even take a sentimental hankie from a favorite grandmother and incorporate it into the gown. Each gown is a one of a kind creation. The Sentimental Baby department is an area that Susan hopes to nurture and grow.

Sentimental Reason's Vintage Boutique truly does reflect Susan's love for taking beautiful old things and finding new ways to include them into her customers lives today.
