Amy Powers

When Amy Powers opened Inspire Co.'s virtual doors in late summer 2000, she hoped to offer a collection of gifts worth giving, beautifully packaged and perfectly matched. In the beginning, she celebrated each order (few and far between) with much fanfare. Happily, orders come more frequently now. Her little business is thriving and she has a base of loyal and happy customers that continues to grow by leaps and bounds. Still, orders are still celebrated as part of her busy day. 

Although she started out knowing very little about the business part of her endeavor, she's learned along the way…often times the hardest way. She looks forward to sharing her hard-learned lessons with others to hopefully make their paths a little smoother.

Amy lives in the Washington, DC suburbs with her husband Rich. She runs her business from their home and often works in her pajamas. It's a sweet life!
